Inspiration

This artwork features Ma‘o hau hele, the native Hawaiian yellow hibiscus and official state flower of Hawai‘i. Inspired by a rare wild bloom spotted during a conservation volunteer day in the Palehua forest (West O‘ahu).

High quality fine art giclée print on archival textured watercolor paper, based on my hand-painted ink and watercolor illustration.

This piece is also available as a one-of-a-kind original here.

Supporting local Hawaiian businesses and the environment

Each print is printed, packed and shipped with aloha by Native Hawaiian women-owned print shop Ki'ikau Printers in Honolulu, Hawai'i. I donate 5% of the proceeds to the Sierra Club of Hawai'i, a non-profit organization fighting to protect Hawai'i's nature, people and wildlife.
